Maps and data
Reviews places, roads and closures, and keeps Iraq’s map up to date.
LVN Map comes from Madinaty Information Technology, the Iraqi company behind GPS LVN and the Ministry of Communications’ partner in running it.
Madinaty Information Technology is an Iraqi limited liability company founded in 2018. It specialises in IT solutions, vehicle tracking, fleet management, mapping, operational monitoring and digital transformation for the public and private sectors.
Since 2022 we have worked with the Ministry of Communications and the General Company for Communications and Informatics on GPS LVN, which opened in 2023. Today our platforms follow more than 30,000 vehicles online every minute. LVN Map grew out of that knowledge of Iraq’s roads and traffic.
We believe a map is national infrastructure: its data is processed inside the country, it speaks people’s language, and it is built with drivers, government bodies and place owners. That is why we build it ourselves, from the servers to the Arabic voice that guides you.
From our office in Baghdad, the Madinaty Information Technology team works on the map, the app and the service, each in their own field.
Reviews places, roads and closures, and keeps Iraq’s map up to date.
Builds the app, the map and routing servers inside Iraq, and the in-car interface.
On 6086, answers users and businesses and follows every issue through.
Works with ministries, governorates and place owners so official information reaches the road.
From technology for institutions, to a national tracking platform, to maps and navigation for everyone.
Madinaty Information Technology starts out with IT solutions, tracking and fleet management systems and digital transformation services for the public and private sectors.
With the Ministry of Communications and the General Company for Communications and Informatics, we start building GPS LVN, a national vehicle-tracking platform.
The platform opens for tracking cars, motorcycles and bicycles, serving state institutions, citizens and private companies under the Communications and Media Commission’s rules.
One app to follow vehicles, trips and alerts from a phone, and one that turns the phone itself into a tracker for field teams, with tasks and messaging.
More than 30,000 vehicles online on our platforms every minute, and the launch of LVN Map: maps, navigation, search and road reports for all of Iraq, on servers inside Iraq, with a car interface on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a partner interface where government bodies publish closures and roadworks officially.
All of Iraq’s map, Arabic voice guidance, reports sent by drivers, and speed and camera alerts.
